throughout Victorian properties these beautiful inserts provided the heating throughout the property
from the smallest bedroom insert to the grander rooms in the house
we work to provide these in restored condition

however with the original openings
in place it then gives the opportunity to create a focal point within the room
framing with a surround works very well and in the larger rooms can be added to frame a wood burner

Restoring period features such as cast iron fireplaces offers its challenges
these have stood the test of time but often arrive in our hands with the layers of paint from 100 years of decor changes
they may also have parts missing or just been dumped and are sporting a think layer of rust
